The Runic Iris design was inspired by the stone age tomb, Maeshowe, built around 3,000 BC. In the 17th century Vikings broke into the tomb and carved runes on the chamber walls. The crescent shaped earrings read clockwise, "Orkney Isles". Designed by Sheila Fleet. Earrings measure approximately 3/4" wide and hang down approximately one inch on French wires. Available in Sterling Silver with Skaill blue enamel,
Sterling with oxidized background, or 9ct. yellow gold. Allow up to 3 weeks to come from the workshop in
