This small spiral design was inspired by scribed carvings found on Neolithic stone slabs and on postshard found at the historic stone age site of Skara Brae on Orkney. Similar spirals are found on stones at other Celtic sites throughout England, Ireland, and Scotland. Spiral medallion measures 3/8” in diameter, set on 1 ½” Sterling rod.
