"Blessing on the Soul"

The Ogham collection was inspired by the first known text discovered in Orkney. The Ogham writing that reads “a blessing on the soul” was found on a whorl stone at Buckquoy, Birsay, approximately 500AD. Sheila’s contemporary interpretation fused to produce an interesting blend of forms, texture, hidden words and messages. Brooch design reads “A Blessing on the Soul”. It is interesting to note the saying “Bless You” has survived from Pictish times to the present day. Sterling Silver matt finish stud earrings measure ˝ ” in diameter. Sterling silver posts. Gift boxed. Made in Scotland. Delivery may take 2-3 weeks if not in stock.
