The Colors of Ireland collection evokes the beautiful hues of the Irish countryside in semi precious stones set in 14ct. yellow or white gold.
Claddagh refers to a small fishing village near Galway City, Ireland. The Claddagh is a heart encircled by a pair of delicate hands with a crown above the heart. Long ago this design was the symbol of the "Fishing Kings of Claddagh" meaning, "In love and friendship let us reign." In the 17th century the symbol was first depicted on a ring, which became the fashionable exchange of friends or lovers. Today, the Claddagh ring symbol serves both as a token of love or a token of friendship. The Colors of Ireland Claddagh pendant has a circle of 11 semi-precious, multi colored stones, ending in the heart, hands, and crown. 14 carat white gold Claddagh measures 5/8" in diameter, on 18" chain (included). Gift boxed. Made in Ireland. Delivery may take 2-3 weeks if not in stock.
