The Runic Iris design was inspired by the stone age tomb, Maeshowe, built around 3,000 BC. In the 17th century Vikings broke into the tomb and carved runes on the chamber walls. The rectangular cufflinks read, "Orkney". Designed by Sheila Fleet. Cufflinks are approximately 5/8 " in diameter. Tie tack is not available in this collection. Available in Sterling Silver with Skaill blue enamel, Sterling with oxidized background, or 9ct. yellow gold. Allow up to 3 weeks to come from the workshop in Orkney, Scotland.
