The daintily stepping horse seen here is carved on an ancient Pictish granite slab and is now in the Kirkyard at Inverurie in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. To the Picts the horse was a mighty symbol of majesty, nobility, and strength. Lead free round pewter pillbox measures 1 3/4" with hinged lid. Gift boxed.
