St. Justin Knox Fire Crystal Candleholder
PA06

The ancient Celts saw life as a continuous flowing entity, with no beginning or end. Much of their work is depicted by spirals or knots to represent everything as linked, a symbol of eternity. Inspiration for knotwork comes from the designs found in the 7th-9th century illuminated manuscripts such as the Book of Kells or the Lindisfarne Gospels. Designer Archibald Knox translated much of the knotwork designs he saw in his youth on the Isle of Man into flowing designs for Liberty of London. This pewter candleholder with stones is based on his work. Candle included. Measures approximately 3" in diameter. Made in Cornwall. Allow up to 3 weeks for delivery if not in stock. Giftboxed.
