This beautiful pewter quaich, handcrafted by St. Justin of Cornwall, is embossed with Celtic designs on the handles,
representing the continuity of life and love-no beginning, no end. Inside the bowl are the words, inspired by Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, “One Ring to Show Our Love, One Ring to Bind Us, One Ring to Seal our Love, and Forever to Entwine Us” in Elvish script, with a raised Celtic knotwork
border around the bowl edge just below the lip. This is a large quaich. The bowl measures 4 inches in diameter; quaich measures 6 inches handle to handle and stands 3 inches high. Please allow 3 weeks for delivery from Cornwall.
The Quaich was traditionally used in Scotland as
a drinking vessel by the clans. They were originally made of wood. Today they
are used in many christening and wedding ceremonies. The pewter quaiches are
lead-free but NOT dishwasher safe. Do not subject to high temperatures nor
