This beautiful pewter quaich, handcrafted by St. Justin of Cornwall, is embossed with Celtic designs on the handles,
representing the continuity of life and love-no beginning, no end. Inside the bowl are the words, “To Have and To Hold” with a raised Celtic knotwork
border around the bowl edge just below the lip. Bowl measures 3 inches in diameter; quaich measures 5 inches handle to handle and stands 1.5 inches high. Please allow 3 weeks for delivery from Cornwall.
The Quaich was traditionally used in Scotland as
a drinking vessel by the clans. They were originally made of wood. Today they
are used in many christening and wedding ceremonies. The pewter quaiches are
lead-free but NOT dishwasher safe. Do not subject to high temperatures nor
strong cleaning products.
