How do you ship and what does it cost?

For the United States, we normally ship either US Postal Service First Class, US Priority Mail or UPS, depending on what is best for your order and where you are located. Shipping charges are set by the weight of the item and you will be charged shipping on the total weight of your order for multiple items. Most items will ship using Standard shipping for $7.95. Heavier orders will cost more. We ship using delivery confirmation and insurance, as appropriate for the value of your order.

Products that are in stock will usually be shipped within 48-72 hours of order receipt. Since our products are handcrafted in England, Ireland, or Scotland, lead time on some products can range from 2-8 weeks if we are out of stock or if it is special order, we will notify you of any delivery time when you place your order Standard delivery time averages 3-7 business days.

If you require expedited shipping, please email us or call us before placing your order OR place the order with standard shipping but put in the instructions you need shipping to be expedited and we’ll get quotes for the cost of your options. We’ll notify you of the expedited costs before we ship.

Do you ship outside the United States?

At this time, we only ship to selected countries-Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and Ireland. We may add more countries in the future. Costs are set by weight per item and based on US Postal Service International Priority Shipping. When you enter your location, you will get customized shipping for your area. If you are trying to order from a country we do not ship to, you will not be able to complete an order.

However, you are responsible for all customs duty or taxes (such as UK VAT) on anything we ship to you. We are required to fill out the appropriate customs forms when we ship. We also cannot ship Fragrances out of the Continental United States.

Can I exchange my purchase or receive a refund if I am not satisfied?

Our return and exchange policy is provided on the checkout page-the text is below:

Cara Magnus Celtic is committed to providing a personal service to each customer and ensuring complete satisfaction with your choice. If you are not dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it within 30 days for an exchange or refund of the merchandise price. Refunds include a full refund of the purchase price including tax, but excluding shipping costs. You must contact us at info@caramagnus.com or by phone, 252-312-3315, within 30 days to obtain a return authorization. Return shipping is at the expense of the customer. Please insure valuable items for the purchase value. Cara Magnus Celtic Ltd. is not responsible for return items lost in the mail. We recommend you use insurance and delivery confirmation through the US Post Office. After 30 days, returns/exchanges/refunds will not be accepted and cannot be processed.

Special orders, such as gold rings, and personalized items are not refundable.

Where are you located and may I stop by your location to view or pick up products?

Our family run business is based in the beautiful Outer Banks of North Carolina. Our town is Kill Devil Hills, right next to the Wright Brother’s Memorial. We’re sorry but at this time we are solely an online retailer. We do not have a retail storefront and we do not open our small warehouse to visitors.
